The "Secret Garden" pictures were taken at Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa.

"The Temple" pictures were taken at the Erinji Temple in Koushu City, Japan.

"Emma" is my cute and mischevious little dog. I miss her I had to leave her in Japan.

I love Japanese food, presentation is everything.

Just a few self-portraits, everyone tells me they like the shoes.

Matsumoto Castle is one of four castles in Japan listed as a national treasure. It was built in the late 1500s by the Ishikawa family! Today it is public park land.

I can see Mt. Fuji almost everyday from where I live in Japan if the weather is clear. Maybe the most famous symbol of Japan.

Yokohama is one of my favorite places to visit. A very modern port city next to Tokyo.

Beautiful historic Kyoto is the old capitol and a must see if you come to Japan.

My favorite is the rock garden.

I visited the new Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines, Iowa. All of the sculpture was donated by philanthropist John Pappajohn.
The construction going on in the background I thought made it more interesting.
